The next round of talks should be initiated with the witdrawal of Sri Lankan Armed Forces and fully implement the CFA. The Sri Lankan union can be united by political process only not militarily.

Just a day before the boxing day Tsunami, LTTE held a conference in Kilinochi with LTTE sympathisers and delegates from over 125 countries came together to discuss future course of action. It was here they decided to make a final push for Eelam. The ‘Final War’ was on the cards for the first time. They had realise ‘ peaceful ‘ path to Eelam via ISGA->Referendum->Eelam was untenable. As it was divine action, the Tsunami hit mainly LTTE held areas the next day. Tsunami only delayed the inevitable resumption of hostilities by LTTE.

Its about time, everytime the SL armed forces has to be restrained in its approach to war, whereas the LTTE can Murder at Will. The CFA was a Farce in the First place.

Jayadeva Uyangoda is wasting his time examining the nuances of the CFA and why it failed. He is better off engaging in a more worthwhile endeavor like trying to pick up mercury with his fork. Save your ink, and save your breath, it matters not how the Glass broke, it only matter how we pick up the dangerous shards and clear up the mess.

If Mr. Uyangoda wants to assign blame then do so properly and blame the LTTE who NEVER, for SINGLE minute, EVER wanted Peace… Anyone who thinks they did is Naive and Delusional.

And if he thinks Sri Lanka has slipped into a “sorry State of War” then he himself is Delusional.

First and foremost… please name a War in the History of Human Conflict that has gone Well and without suffering or Casualties? I think you would be hard pressed to find one. Uyangoda is calling this a “sorry State of War”? Well please illustrate to us here what the opposite of that type of war would be. You think Colombo Liberals can continue to enjoy the good life while a war is on….? War is always “Bad”, it is a Last Resort, and therefore when it occurs we should not sit around scratching our heads and over-examining the reasons we have entered into this situation. The time for talk is over, NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT! Sri Lanka did not choose this War, the LTTE did,…. the sooner you Fence-Sitting Morons and Serial Apologists get this through your Thick Skulls the better for the country and the quicker we can pull through this. Sri Lanka chose Peace the LTTE chose war. We as a country will not bow to Terrorists and those who mean us harm. They had their shot at settling this peacefully and they demonstrated to us (Yet again!) that they will not settle politically or peacefully.

We also don’t need the International Community telling us how to conduct ourselves,… these Meddlesome NGOs with foreign Political Agendas trying to nest themselves into our internal affairs need to be sent packing. Don’t come to our country and Dictate Terms to us. If you are here to help, then Help ,…when we tell you to do… not when you feel like doing and not on your terms… you are in Sri Lanka, you are Guests, and you do things on OUR Terms…. if this is not acceptable to you the Goodbye,… Dont let the Door Slam your ass on the way out.
