Don’t worry about saving the Tamil youth from LTTE. It is no secret how the government has been treating the Tamil youth for the last three decades. Imprisonment, abductions, killings,mass graves, torture. Have’nt you heard about Bindunuwewa massacre,Welikade massacre,chemmani mass graves? so many to mention. Don’t think that by pretending that these does not exist, will make it go away.

You mention about Pirapahan’s bunker. Even the Sri Lankan President was accused of building a LUXURY BUNKER at the expense of the tax payers money. Don’t they stop all traffic when they go out of their bunkers?

The civilians from the LTTE controlled areas move to the Govt. control areas not because they love the govt. control areas or the murderous government, but to escape the CARPET BOMBING, shelling and Multi barrel lauchers by the Government forces.

Indians are determined to strengthen SL economy and mutually benefit from such renaissance.Being an open economy ,all are welcome to participate and compete including you.

what is important is abandoning intolerant,illiberal,parochial mentality.Please refer the following published by malaysian media on open economy.We are not here to hijack SL econmomy.Morethan economy,India considers morally imperative to strengthen SL at this critical juncture.India too keeps up the pressure on that account surely to benefit Srilanka.

Hitler was stopped by war not by peace talks.
Civil war in America did not end by peace talks.
US and the West didn’t start peace talks with Al-Queida or Taliban.

Do you have examples of SLA using human shields? We know that LTTE terrorists are doing this as they did in the East. That’s why so many people are escaping to the Govt. held areas day by day.

It is too boring to read the entire article…nothing new… just re-wrting what we have read from news…

We have to have a comprehensive economic paln to encourage busienss development. When people have some tangible assets they do not want to lose them hence they will be reluctant to go to war, but when they have nothing to lose they don’t care. What we have done in Sri Lanka is we made both the Singhalese and Tamils poor. It was the Singhalese who were poor.

We need political courage, will and genuine desire to help the fellow human being, that desire is missing in our minds, we are simply too timid to unite and work as one team. May I suggest there is a book Called TRUST written by Francis Fukuyama which may shed some light into how to solve our problems.
I hope you will continue to write so that we can create a momentum that can change the political situation in our motherland.
